IMS 16K Static RAM
Introduction
Both IMS 16K were included with my SOL-20. I now have so many RAM cards that I will soon lose track.
Out of a total of 2x32 RAM ICs, only one was defective; I tested them all with my RCT Professional.

The IMS 16K is simply structured and easy to set up. It has a few special features (ROM addressing, Phantom line), but I don't need them (yet). Just have a look at the manual.
As with my IMS 8K, you can immediately "see" a disadvantage. In computers without sufficient ventilation, the regulators on the board get hot very. The brown (burnt) areas are also immediately noticeable on other boards that I have seen on the Internet.
As mentioned at the beginning, both boards come from my SOL-20, where the S-100 boards are arranged horizontally. This is very bad for heat dissipation; they must burn!

Settings
Just set the correct 16K memory area 1, 2, 3 or 4. Choose MWR or PWR - frontpanel or not. And off you go.
